Which Path Will You Take?

The Wide Path Or The Narrow Path?

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. 14But the gate is narrow (contracted [a]by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it.

Jeremiah 21:8And to this people you [Jeremiah] shall say, Thus says the Lord: Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death.

Today’s Thought:Billy Graham said in his book “The Journey”, the old path (wide path) will never deliver us home! The new path (the narrow way) will lead us home! There are two gates in the bible that are mentioned, the wide gate and the narrow gate. The wide gate is spacious & broad but it leads to destruction. The bible says many are those who are entering through it. Then there is the narrow gate. The narrow gate is contracted by pressure the way is straitened and compressed, but it leads away to life, but few find it.

There are two paths and we have to make a choice which path we take. We can take the path that is more popular that everyone seems to be on and our promise is destruction. Or, we can take the narrow path which is narrow because it is contracted by pressure which means it won’t exactly be the easiest path, but the promise is that it will lead to life. Let me encourage you today, that although you may not find many on this narrow path, Jesus will be walking with you every step of the way!
