Paycheck (DVD – 2003)
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Paycheck is a sci-fi thriller with a trace of romance. Actors Ben Affleck, Uma Thurman, Aaron Eckhart, Joe Morton and Paul Giamatti are the main characters in this film. Mike Jennings (Ben Affleck) creates classified technology. He designs computer programs & gets paid the big bucks to do it. Mike's good friend Jimmy Rethrick (Aaron Eckhart) offers him a job of a lifetime. However, he doesn't get the paycheck till the job is done. Because of the high security that the job holds, he must also agree to let them erase his memory of all that has happened.
Its been three years and the job is over with and its time to collect his paycheck. Mike receives an envelope with personal articles in it that he sent to himself. Now with his memory erased he has nothing but an envelope containing these personal articles. What clues will they hold to the missing pieces of the puzzle that he needs? Will they help him solve the mystery of who he is and help him recall the life he once had? As he races against the clock he realizes that he only has one chance to get it right.
If you like a fast paced action movie and the intrigue of a mystery, you'll like this movie. Paycheck is rated PG-13 for action violence, brief language. There is also a love scene but it is not explicit.

Anna (Amy Adams) dates her boyfriend Jeremy (Adam Scott) for four years but still has no engagement ring. So Anna decides to take a different approach. She discovers an Irish Tradition where a woman can propose to a man on Leap day in Ireland. She then decides to follow her boyfriend to Ireland to propose. However Anna’s journey takes a wrong turn & she must get the help of a local (Matthew Goodle) to get her where she needs to go. As she makes her way across the country, she makes discoveries about herself that could change everything. (mc)
